Sookyung Bok
President of Korean Society for Diabetic Foot
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
This July, as the vibrant greenery of summer reaches its peak, it is my great pleasure and honor to welcome you to the 3rd International Congress and the 26th Meeting of the Korean Society for Diabetic Foot.
This year's congress is particularly meaningful, as it marks one of our most significant opportunities since 2018 to reconnect face-to-face with distinguished experts from around the world. After years of anticipation, we are finally able to gather in person to exchange the latest knowledge, discuss emerging challenges, and strengthen international collaboration in the field of diabetic foot care. This long-awaited reunion makes our time together even more valuable and inspiring.
In line with global trends and advances in medicine, this year's scientific program covers the full spectrum of diabetic foot management—from Basic Research and Infection Control to Revascularization, Diabetic Foot Deformities and Debridement, as well as Novel Technologies incorporating Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. Renowned international speakers from across Asia will share practical clinical protocols and insights into the future of diabetic foot care. We are confident that these sessions will provide both immediate clinical value and a broader vision for the advancement of our field.
The Korean Society for Diabetic Foot hopes to use this international congress as an opportunity to further expand our academic network and deepen multidisciplinary collaboration. Meaningful progress in diabetic foot care can only be achieved when experts from diverse specialties work together, share their expertise, and broaden the scope of cooperation to provide real hope and better outcomes for our patients.
Over the course of these two days, I sincerely hope that this congress will be a place where participants engage in meaningful discussions, gain deeper insights into the field, and freely exchange their experiences and expertise, fostering collaboration and innovation in diabetic foot care.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Organizing Committee and executive members whose dedication and hard work made this congress possible. I also extend my sincere appreciation to all speakers and moderators, both domestic and international, for sharing their valuable knowledge and research. Above all, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all our members and participants for their continued enthusiasm, dedication, and support.
As we gather this summer, I hope that the next two days will serve as a meaningful foundation for your academic achievements and clinical advancement.
Thank you.
